Fire Company

Overview

The Grantville Volunteer Fire Company members are dedicated to providing the best fire protection, rescue, fire police, emergency medical and support services to East Hanover Township and surrounding municipalities. The fire company publishes an annual fire company book, newsletter, Facebook page, and website to inform residents of company activities. The company book, carnival, yard sale, chicken & pork rib barbecues, annual fund drive, spaghetti dinners, and April & September daily drawings are some of the fundraising activities needed to operate this fine company. The company also co-sponsors community activities with East Hanover Township Park and Recreation such as the annual Halloween Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting. The company is always in need of emergency and support personnel. There are three types of company memberships needs: Emergency-Response, Support/Auxiliary and Junior Memberships. Residents are invited to join by obtaining an application from the company membership secretary or any one of the officers listed. The cost of membership is $3.00 per year. Youth between the ages of 16 and 18 are invited to join the Junior Firefighter Program. Anyone is welcome to attend the fire company meetings which are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the training room at the fire house.
