East Hanover Township Electronics Recycling

As a convenience to Residents of East Hanover Township, the Board of Supervisors provides a drop off center for electronics at the Township Building so residents do not have to drive to Cameron Street in Harrisburg to recycle their electronics.

Electronics are accepted between 9am and 3pm weekdays at the Township Building.  There is a form to fill out that lists the accepted electronic equipment and Proof of residency is required. Residents are required to independently load all items into the trailer. (see link below)

Examples of acceptable electronic recyclables are answering machines, cable or satellite boxes, CD players, DVD players, electronic camera or camcorder, fax machine, gaming system, laptop, microwave oven, modem, router, PC equipment (mouse, keyboard, hard drive, and speakers), monitor (will need size), printer, radio, remote control, scanner, stereo equipment (including speakers), tape player, telephone (landline), Television (will need size), and VCR. 

Note: No Appliances, tools, batteries, light bulbs, or items with Freon (air conditioner or dehumidifier) are accepted.
